MC
Eiht, who dropped another classic
album titled N’ My Neighborhood last month on Mack 10′s Hoo Bangin
label, has announced the reformation of Compton’s Most Wanted,
the pioneering group which launched Eiht Hype to stardom in 1990,
with their debut release It’s A Compton Thang. CMW is featured
on 3 tracks off of the N’ My Neighborhood release. Eiht, who himself
started a label, Half House Records, will be putting out the latest
CMW record on September 12.
The
release will be in the vain of the classic CMW album, Music To
Driveby, and will be distributed independently. You can catch
Eiht in Mack 10′s recently released straight to video movie, Thicker
Than Water. Rumor has it that Eiht will also be linking up with
long time rival, and Ex Blood, DJ Quik. In Mack 10 news, he is
readying his latest release, The Paper Route, which will feature
Eiht, Technique, and The Comrades amongst others. Mack 10 has
also started a new film company with T-Boz, named Mackinboz Films.
