Erell Barnes, who is a founding member of the 5th

Ward Boyz out of Houston Texas is now facing federal charges

in connection with 3 bank robberies.

The F.B.I. began

to suspect Barners when a car spotted by one of the witnesses

to a robbery was traced to an ex-girlfriend. An arrest warrant

was soon issued at the end of October. He held up the Hometown

Bank Of Friendswood on October 2nd, Guaranty Federal on Oct.

10th, a branch of Bank One on the 27th of October. In all of

the robberies, he presented a threatening note, and demanded

money.

The 5th Ward Boyz

have released several albums through Rap-A-Lot, including P.W.A.

The Album, Rated G., and a new album dropping, titled Recognize

The Real, which drops Novemeber 14th.
