The

stolen

handgun found in the Lincoln Navigator truck with Puffy has apparently

been traced to a man outside Atlanta. Ralph Cooper, a building

contractor from Powder Springs, had reported his gun missing to

local police after it was stolen from his truck last fall, his

wife, Shellene, told APBnews.com. New York police found a 9 mm

Smith & Wesson semiautomatic pistol and said the gun had been

reported stolen in Georgia.

The Navigator that the gun was found in ran at least 11 red lights

before police forced it to stop on Manhattan’s Eighth Avenue.

Some questions remain about whether the gun found in Combs’ truck

really belongs to the Coopers. So far only reporters — not police

— have called about the gun, Shellene Cooper told APBnews.com.
