One Lawsuit Down, Another To Go

Lauryn

Hill, who was

sued over production credit for her album, The Miseducation of

Lauryn Hill, has settled. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed

by her label, Sony Entertainment. The musicians, Vada Nobles,

Rasheem Pugh, Tejumold and Johari Newton, charged that Hill promised

to credit them for their work, but then reneged and listed her

self as Producer.

Lauryn’s court battles

aren’t over yet. Bass player Vere Issac is suing her, claiming

the didn’t give him credit for his work on Aretha Franklin’s smash,

"A Rose Is A Rose", citing that he wrote the melody

for the single.
