aka Layzie Bone of Bone Thugs -N- Harmony sustained a critical

eye injury while shooting the second video from his latest

album, Thug By Nature. While shooting the video for "Listen"

at the historical California State Mental Institution, Layzie

suffered a quarter inch abrasion on the pupil of his right

eye, due to special effects chemicals. Layzie was scheduled

to start a national promotional tour on April 18th, 2001,

but several of his major appearances have been canceled or

postponed due to the severity of his injury.

Bone Thugs -N-

Harmony is scheduled to release their next group album in

November of 2001, the group has been topping the charts for

seven years.

Currently resting

at his home in Chatsworth, the entertainer is scheduled for

treatment by an eye specialist on Monday.
