Knight was released from prison 5 days earlier

than was expected. He left Mule Creek State Prison near Sacramento,

California after serving over half of a nine year bid for

violation of his parole, stemming from an incident in which

he beat alleged Crip gang member Orlando Anderson. The incident

is believed to have led to the shooting of Tupac Shakur in

Las Vegas.

“I had everything.

I still do. But I had everything I could possibly have and

I had six of the best lawyers and I still got nine years”
