R.I.P D.J. Threat


Ryder crew member Jason Campbell AKA D.J. Threat

was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident Saturday (May

12) at the age of 23. Threat, who had just started DJing at

Hot 97 in New York City, also was recently named East Coast

Director Of Promotions for Atlantic Records.

Campbell, who

lived in Brooklyn, went out to spend Mother’s Day Weekend

with his family "I’ve Reached My Dream," he told

his family and friends on Friday. "I’m a DJ at the hottest

radio station and I got a job at the hottest label.

A wake for Threat

will be held Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4pm and 7pm-9:30pm

at the Grant Funeral Home. The actual funeral takes places

Thursday May 17th at 8am. Donations to to help pay for Threat’s
