Every

afternoon,"Rush Hour" in New York City turns

into a house party. From open windows in Jeeps, Land Cruisers,

Escalades and hoopdees across the 5 boroughs, the tastiest

and hottest in hip-hop – deftly cut and mixed club-style

blazes into the afternoon air. It¹s five o¹clock,

the country¹s premier urban radio station – HOT 97

– is on the dial, and DJ Enuff,

aka "Big Spanish," aka "The Heavy Hitter"

is on the wheels of steel.

With years

of touring, radio airtime, production work and club shakin’

under his belt, DJ Enuff, born Ephrem Lopez, is finally

ready to take center stage with his debut album DJ

Enuff Mixes Heavy Hits: Vol.1, set for a November

6th release on Kinetic Records. Heavy Hits, featuring

a continuous mix of some the biggest party-starters from

the past year along with freestyles and exclusive originals,

will carry all the heat of one of Enuff¹s notorious

DJ sets. "This is a stepping stone for me,"

says Enuff. "I think with this album, we’re taking

it to the next level."

Throughout

his career, spanning a decade behind the ones & twos,

Enuff has always had his eye on "the next level."

As one of the Notorious B.I.G.¹s inner circle and

his tour DJ throughout the mid-nineties, Enuff earned

his production stripes behind the boards on tracks like

Junior M.A.F.I.A.¹s "platinum "Get Money"

remix and Biggie¹s prophetic "You¹re Nobody

Till Somebody Kills You." A two-year stint as an

A&R exec at Def Jam sharpened Enuff¹s ears for

hit records.

With an exclusive

new track from Lord Tariq & Peter Gunz, the Neptunes-produced

banger "What¹s That Sound" that The Source

proclaimed "will leave a#### shakin’ and ears ringing"

Enuff proves he’s still got the ear. "I’ve

known Lord Tariq for a long time, he’s really from the

streets," says Enuff. "I loved his underground

stuff and I thought he and Gunz should be heard again."

Enuff, who produced four original tracks for the album,

also breaks new talent with his own signee, velvet-voiced

Brooklyn crooner J-Remi who contributes a slick,

head-nodding slice of hip-hop/soul with the single "So

Beautiful," which has already been added at HOT 97.

"Remi is a real special talent," Enuff warns.

"He’s going to be a problem."

Enuff, who aside from his daily shine on the radio dial,

spins at various clubs at least three times a week, has

selected a barrage of riot-inducing cuts like Mystikal¹s

party anthem "Shake Yo’ Ass," Tha Liks’ "Best

U Can," De La Soul’s "Oooh," "Y’all

Don’t Wanna" from Capone N’ Noreaga, The Beatnuts’

"Let¹s Get Dough," "Wifey" from

Next, and more.
