The
RZA, who’s Bobby Digital release Digital Bullet
moved over 60,000 copies its first week out and debuted
at number 21 on the Billboard Hot Albums chart, has said
that a flood of Wu releases will hit us for 2002. According
to sources, The RZA will drop The Flood March 12th, 2002
on Koch/In The Paint. Koch also announced that that a
Wu-Tang Killa Bee’s release is scheduled to drop November
20th. Wu-Tang members Ghostface Killah and Raekwon The
Chef are both preparing their releases, as well. Ghostface
Killah’s Cuban Linx II: Bulletproof Wallets, is due in
stores November 13, followed by Raekwon’s R.A.G.U. in
February 2002.
In connected
news, KOCH is increasing the releases from their In The
Paint label. In 2002, we can also expect new releases
from Afu-Ra, B-Legit, Haystak, recent signing Dyme and
another KRS-One album in June.
