the follow-up to her smash debut, Whoa Nelly!. She is taking the time out to

lend a hand to The Roots and the collaboration is likely to appear on the Philly

Furtado recently appeared on Missy Elliot’s remix

to "Get Ur Freak On," giving new life to the song. Furtado’s first

album mixes hip-hop styled samples and beats with folksy guitars and other instruments.

She will be releasing her next single "Hey Man," in June.
