Jay-Z issued
a call for students in NYC to join him in supporting the "Mobilization
For Education" march on City Hall tomorrow (June 4th). In a PSA that is
being aired on New York City radio stations, Jay-Z urges his fans to join the
march is to protest Mayor Bloomberg & Governor Pataki’s proposed $1.2 billion
dollar budget cuts for education.
"At 2:30 pm I want you to get up and walk
out of class and meet us at city hall," an enthusiastic Jay-Z says on the
PSA. "Come protest the more than $1 billion dollar cuts. Let your voice
be heard. I’m out of school, this is for you. Help us to help you. "Let
these elected officials know we elected them. They work for us."
