Suge Knight was arrested Monday for allegedly
violating terms of his parole, a charge that Knight’s attorney has denied.
The violations involve his alleged association with gang members.
Authorities said they learned of the violations
when they raided his office and home on November 14 in relation to several
gang related homicides, the result of an on going beef between rival factions
of L.A. blood gangs.
"He hasn’t done anything but try to obey
the law and work hard since his release,” attorney David Chesnoff told The
Associated Press. "I’m hopeful that when this is all thoroughly analyzed
that he’ll be permitted to be released.”
Knight has been on probation since 1995. Knight
allegedly pistol whipped producers George and Lynwood Stanley during an altercation.

7, 1996, Knight was involved in the infamous altercation in the lobby of the
MGM Grand. Knight assaulted Compton Crip Orlando Anderson, which many believe
led to the murder of Tupac Shakur later that evening.
