The Roots are the latest hip-hop act to join Sean John’s “It’s Not Just A
Label, It’s A Lifestyle,” advertising campaign. The ad is slated to run in
King, Slam, The Source, Complex and other urban magazines.
Other artists that are part of the advertising campaign are Combs himself, Common,
Gangstarr, Nas and Fabolous.
The Roots are still performing shows throughout the country in support of their latest opus, Phrenology. The group recently released the Cody ChestnuTT collaboration, “The Seed 2.0.”
