Instead of dropping a CD like most new groups,
Strong Arm Steady opted to release a DVD featuring group members
Xzibit, Krondon, Mitchy Slick, Phil Da Agony and Will Blast.
"We are in the age of multi-media so introducing
the [Strong Arm Stready] crew along with all the mixtapes along with guest appearances
is just a way to give more insight on the personalities to these guys,"
Xzibit told AllHipHop.com.
The DVD comes with unreleased tracks and exclusive
audio and video from Strong Arm Steady and follows the group’s day-to-day life.
The DVD features guest appearances by Kanye West,
Talib Kweli, Busta Rhymes, Ice-T and others.
"We are taking a real grass roots effect
to the product in everything that we are putting out," Xzibit continued.
"Any avenues that are available to me, I make it available to them.
Strong Arm Steady was founded by group member
Will Blast in 1997 and group members have been very active on the West Coast
mixtape scene.
In addition to the group members, extended family
includes Chase Infinite, Self Scientific, Khalil, Planet Asia, Rass Kass, Bad
Azz and others.
