The Black Eyed Peas will give what concert organizers

dubbed "the first full-scale Hip-Hop concert" in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The group recently signed on to do their first

Southeast Asian tour for Malaysian fans later next month.

The event is organized by Pineapple Concerts,

who said the group will perform at the Bukit Kiara Equestrian and Country Resort

on May 26.

Pineapple Concerts staged a show by rock band

Incubus on March 16, which drew over 8,000 fans. The company hopes the Black

Eyed Peas will continue their successes.

Malaysia is home to several Hip-Hop groups, including

the platinum selling Too Phat.

In related news, the Peas have reworked their

song "Lets Get Retarded" into "Lets Get It Started" for

ESPN and the NBA. The original version of the record was featured on their platinum

selling album Elephunk.
