Nelly’s “Tip

Drill” video will reportedly be banned by British broadcaster BBC. Network

honcho’s are scared the video is too rude and will spark unwanted controversy

in the U.K. The video sparked protests in the United States, with various groups

protesting the portrayal of women in the video. “It was strictly adult entertainment;

it wasn’t to try to demoralize women,” Nelly recently told AllHipHop.com.

“Entertainers get a bad rap. It’s easier to blame us for you not raising

your kids and being involved in your kid’s life.” Eminem’s

latest album Encore was too offensive for The CD and DVD Store, a 25

outlet chain in New Zealand. The chain has a poster campaign in shop windows

to discourage people from buying the rapper’s latest album. “We’d rather

not make money selling you this stuff but if you do want this album, buy it

here and we will donate $6 for every copy we sell," the poster reads. The

chain is refusing to display the album and will only sell copies to customers

who request it. Almost all of the proceeds The CD and DVD Store makes off of

the copies they do sell will be donated to a women’s refuge charity and a suicide

lineup of the 78th Arabian Nights Festival, which takes place in the historical

City of Opa-locka, Florida, outside of Miami. The family festival is hosted

by Vivica A. Fox at the Opa-locka airport on multiple stages. The festival,

which takes place December 10-11, dates back to the city’s founding in

week. Jay-Z’s “failed” tour with R. Kelly is shaping up to

be a winner. The retooled Jay-Z and Friends concert took the #7 spot in top

grossing concerts last week, raking in $787,814 per city, based on an average

ticket price of $62 dollars. Usher’s tour moved up one spot to #8, taking

in $780,569 per city, based on ticket prices of $58. The Beastie Boys debuted,

landing at #19, pulling $363,494 per city based on ticket prices of $38 dollars.

Prince topped the list, while Barry Manilow, Metallica, Sting and Phil Collins

made strong showings.
