D/R Period and K-Cino
of SSC Records have announced that they are launching “Tha Awakening Tour.”
The tour will feature performances by Smoothe Da Hustler, Pitch
Black, K-Cino and D/R, Alikes, Miss B-rhaka, R&B sensation Hersh, touring
DJ’s Jay-Tha-Kid from Desert Storm and DJ Dramatic, as well as some celebrity
guests.
Dates for the tour are being finalized, but the tour will be
making stops in various major markets across the U.S. The tour will be filmed
for DVD with a soundtrack which will be released sometime this fall.
D/R Period’s “Quarantine”, the movie and soundtrack,
and K-Cino’s The Bottom Line will be in stores this fall as well.
D/R Period is best known for his production talents on numerous
Hip-Hop stars such as M.O.P., Jay-Z, DMX, Cam’ron, Nas and many others.
The tour will be
making stops in the following cities: Rochester, NY, Boston, MA, New York City,
NY, Philadelphia, PA, Baltimore, MD, Washington D.C., Norfolk and Richmond,
VA, Charlotte, NC, Greenville, S.C., Atlanta, GA, Jacksonville, FL, New Orleans,
LA, Cincinnati and Columbus, OH, Dallas and Houston, TX, Los Angeles, CA, Chicago,
IL, and Detroit, MI.
