The organizers of the Latin Rap Conference [LRC] have announced that proceeds from the LRC’s showcase will be dedicated to support the victims of Hurricane Katrina. The Latin Rap Conference will feature performances by Lil Rob, Tru Life and Voltio who are scheduled to headline event. In addition to the artist showcase, The LRC will also feature discussion panels and workshops to discuss the new Hispanic Urban format and the growth of Latino Rap and Reggaeton.Executives from all major record labels, radio stations and media outlets participating in the conference including Gus Lopez (Machete Records), Jose Tillan (MTV), Ebro Darden (Hot 97), DJ Kazzanova, (La Kalle), Flavio Morales (Mun 2), Ray Acosta (Wu Latino) and Leila Cobo (Billboard Magazine). “We are confident the LRC will become the premier forum for music industry executives, record labels, media insiders and aspiring artists who continue to define this vibrant genre of music,” said Rich Isaacson of the Fuerte Group, LRC member and conference organizer. One of the most anticipated panels at the conference will be the Youth Town Hall Meeting hosted by FUSE TV FJ Marianela.
