Comedian Katt Williams has been tapped to roast Hip-Hop legend Flavor Flav for The Comedy Central Roast of Flavor Flav, set to air on the network Sunday August 12 at 10:00pm EST.
Other comic acts also set to speak include roasters Jimmy Kimmel, Ice-T, Greg Giraldo, Carrot Top, Lisa Lampenalli, Bridgett Nielsen, Patton Oswald, SnoopDogg, Sommore, and many others.
The event, which is hosted by Williams (the Master Roaster), will pay homage to Public Enemy’s number one hype man, honor his career through stand-up comedy.
Flavor Flav’s career, which spans 20 years, includes his membership in the groundbreaking group Hip-Hop group Public Enemy.
Most recently, Flav has found fame on television as the star of the VH1 reality series The Surreal Life, Strange Love, and the Flavor of Love series.
