Popular alcohol beverage maker Smirnoff has launched a global search for 10 individuals to take part in its newly launched Smirnoff Experience program.
The Smirnoff Experience will take the “Smirnoff Ten” around the world, as they visit four cities that mark significant milestones in the company’s history and document the experience through short films, blogs, photos and other media.
Smirnoff is seeking writers, reporters and editors who have a knowledge of Hip-Hop, as well as people who have experience working within the nightlife industry, such as DJs and promoters and those who can navigate their way into any party or club anywhere in the world.
Smirnoff will choose one “urban lifestyle specialist” from the United States to participate in the global trek.
“Smirnoff Vodka is looking for ‘Hip-Hop heads” to enter an amazing contest,” said Isabelle McDonnell, Senior Brand Manager of Smirnoff. “The winner will join nine other people chosen from other countries to take a year long journey to sample and report on urban nightlife around the world, including some of the huge events that Smirnoff will be sponsoring. This is a once in a lifetime experience for a true lover of Hip-Hop to explore how it’s done all over the world.”
In addition to attending Smirnoff Experience events in Moscow, Shanghai, Paris and New York, participants will check out various events, cities, festivals, bars and clubs across Asia, Europe, South Africa, Australia, North and South America.
The outing begins at the Smirnoff Experience Moscow event in the brand’s birthplace in Russia on Sept. 29.
The team will also be featured on a YouTube branded channel throughout the year.
