Dogg Pound member Kurupt and his girlfriend Gail Gotti recently exchanged wedding vows during an elaborate and private ceremony held in Philadelphia, PA on Saturday (August 18).
The pair and 170 of their closest family and friends gathered at the Rittenhouse Hotel to witness the Kurupt, born Ricardo Brown Jr. and Gail Gotti, born JoVan Brumfield, make their long-term relationship official.
“Our wedding was perfect,” Gail Gotti told AllHipHop.com. “It was elegant, personal, simple and fun. The day was filled with everything I ever dreamed of and more.”
The couple had been planning the wedding since last year and deliberately kept their plans secret to avoid unwanted attention from the media, fans and other would-be wedding crashers.
“This is just another example in a long list that differentiates them from other high profile couples,” their publicist Melissa Haje Sera said. “Everything was so upscale and elegant just like they are.”
The ceremony started at 3:00 PM and guests celebrated the pairs union at the Rittenhouse Hotel until the early hours of the morning, dancing to music provided by XM’s DJ Nina 9 and DJ Xclusive.
“I’m still speechless,” Kurupt said. “Gail really out did herself with putting the entire wedding together. Everything was perfect from the beginning to the end, and I married the perfect woman, I couldn’t of asked for more!”
