I was reborn Monday September 18th, 2007 at the ultra chic Duvet nightclub. The parents of this Rebirth were none other than AllHipHop. The AHH Fashion Show was definitely an event to remember.  People lined up outside – one on top of the other – waiting in anticipation for a chance to get a glimpse of the magic that was going on inside. Upon entrance, it could be seen that with each passing minute and each celebrity guest that appeared, the anticipation was building into a blind frenzy.Celebrity models included Nina Sky, Ramelle Knight of Dipskate, Nik Pace, Consequence, Amanda Diva, Wynter Gordon, and last but not least Mr. LL “I need a ’round the way girl” Cool J, who co-hosted the event with Lyris Crosse. The show featured fashions from today’s hottest designers in the hyper fashionable Hip-Hop landscape. Designers included LRG, Sean John, Triple 5 Soul, and Garbege, just to name a few. The show managed to stay true to Hip-Hop culture, yet be sexy and fashionable at the same time. The performances added the night’s excitement and took the fashion show to a new high. First up was Deemi who made new fans by the minute with the “Soundtrack Of My Life.” Crime Mob came next and got the kept the crowd crunk with performances of their party anthems “Knuck If You Buck” and “Rock Yo Hips.” Next up was Soulja Boy who gave a very energetic performance of his numero uno hit single, “Crank That.”The marks of good fashion are timelessness, stylishness, and elegance. In truth these characteristics can apply not only to fashion but to all things great. With this being said, cheers to ALLHIPHOP for being timelessly, stylishly, and elegantly in a class all by itself.
