Ruthless Records is preparing an album of all new material by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony titled T.H.U.G.S. The album contains 13 new unreleased songs featuring Bizzy Bone, Krayzie Bone, Layzie Bone and Wish Bone, all four original members of the group. EMI Music Publishing has appointed Big Jon Platt as President of West Coast Creative, making him the company’s most senior representative on the West Coast. The company’s new CEO Roger Faxon announced that EMI was forming the North American Songwriter Leadership Council, which aims to deliver the highest level of services to its songwriters and composers. Platt will continue to run EMI Music Publishing’s Urban Music department, a unit that has signed some of the biggest names in music, including Jay-Z, Kanye West, Usher, Ludacris, Young Jeezy, Mr. Collipark, Harold Lilly and Damon Thomas, Beyonce and others.
