Long Beach, California Hip-Hop star Snoop Dogg has announced that he will release his ninth solo album, Ego Trippin, in March.The first single, “Sensual Seduction,” features Snoop rapping and singing, utilizing the now popular “talk box” effect, which was originally popularized by Roger Troutman of Roger and Zapp.A video for “Sensual Seduction” is slated to premiere November 28th.”‘Sensual Seduction’ is like a throwback feel-good song,” Snoop Dogg said in a statement. “I wanted to have fun with this one … and the video is crazy.”According to reps for Snoop, the video for the single takes viewers back to the early eighties and features the rapper backed by a female group reminiscent of legendary girl groups like Rick James’ the Mary Jane Girls and Prince’s Vanity Six.The video also pays tribute to some of Snoop’s favorite R&B singers, including the aforementioned Rick James and Prince.The video will premier on MTV’s TRL on Wednesday, November 28 and Snoop will also personally deliver and premier the clip on BET’s 106 & Park on November 29th.
