More time on the big and small screen is on the horizon for Method Man as the rapper begins a series of acting cameos with an appearance on the hit NBC show Law and Order: Special Victims Unit.
In the episode, which is scheduled to air at 10 p.m. ET/PT Tuesday (Dec. 4), SVU detectives Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) investigate the death of a polygamists wife.
The crime causes the Nigerian national to believe that his testifying in a separate crime may have led to his wifes murder.
The investigation in to the incident leads the SVU to believe that the mans cultural tradition may be the root cause of his wifes slaying, after Benson and Stabler discover a website exposing potential witnesses to the other crime.
Method Man is the latest celebrity to appear on Law and Order: SVU.
The show recently featured model Nicole “CoCo” Austin, who acted alongside her husband and SVU star Ice-T.
In addition to Law and Order: SVU, Method Man will appear on HBOs The Wire on Jan. 4 and the New Regency/Fox film Meet The Spartans in February.
The rapper is also slated to be seen in the highly-anticipated independent feature The Wackness.
