Hip-Hop veteran Doug E. Fresh has been tapped to perform at the grand opening of the first HipHopSodaShop in Tampa, Florida on December 18.
The world renowned beat boxer and MC will be joined by music mogul Andre Harrell, founder of Uptown Records and former CEO of Motown Records, as well as HipHopSodaShop CEO, Dr. Ben Chavis, who also heads up The Hip-Hop Summit Action Network.
“It’s a privilege and an honor to have such Hip-Hop luminaries commit to our grand opening on December 18, Dr. Chavis stated. It proves that the HipHopSodaShop franchise is receiving and will continue to receive this type of support from the Hip-Hop community. I will have more of the biggest names in Hip-Hop to announce real soon.”
In related news, HipHopSodaShops parent company H3 Enterprises recently announced a developing partnership with Microsoft’s Xbox and Games for Windows.
The two companies will explore building mutual partnerships related to H3s utilization of Xbox 360 video games and consoles in HipHopSodaShop franchises, which will be built across the United States.
“As we prepare for the Grand Opening of our first HipHopSodaShop in Tampa, it is significant to state that we did have a productive meeting, Chavis said. We will now continue take the appropriate steps to build an effective ongoing relationship with Xbox.”
