Rappers Bizzy Bone and DMX will team up later this month to shoot a video for Bizzy Bone’s latest single “A Song for You.”

According to director Ethan Lader, the video for the song will be shot January 21 in Phoenix, Arizona, where they will turn a cemetery into a video set.

“The passion, the power, the pain will be brought to life through this video,” Lader told AllHipHop.com in a statement. “It’s about vibe, mood, and imagery. We will journey with Bizzy Bone as he travels through a prolific cemetery; a cemetery that has all the fallen soldiers of our Hip-Hop community buried together, united together. The vibe throughout is one of hope and strength.”

“A Song for You” is an interpolation of Donny Hathaway’s 1971 classic composition “A Song for You.” Bizzy Bone’s version is taken from his After Platinum Records release of the same name, which features guest appearances by Trina, Jim Jones, Twista, Good Charlotte and others.

The single will be available on iTunes, AOL Music and other digital music services on January 15, while the video is expected to debut sometime in February.

The news of DMX’s involvement in the video comes weeks after the rapper announced a new record deal with BoDog Music, which will release With Me Now and You’ll Fly With Me Later, two albums that will drop at the same time.
