New York based non-profit The Book Bank Foundation is kicking off its 1st Annual Community Tour, featuring Queens, New York rapper Tony Yayo. Yayo will join Book Bank founder Glenn Toby from March 10-15th in New York City promoting literacy while visiting various schools and homeless shelters.

The Book Bank Foundation was established in 1997 by Glenn Toby, with its primary focus on reaching homeless youth. In addition to distributing $40,000 in annual donations, The Book Bank Foundation also sponsors a number of community outreach events.

The tour is part of community service Yayo must perform, after he pleaded guilty in February, to being involved in the assault of the 14-year-old son of music executive Jimmy “Henchmen” Rosemond.
