Roy Jones Jr. May be well-versed in the sport of boxing, but the former champion hopes to knock out fans with his rap skills on an upcoming new reality TV show.

 

The series, titled Secret Talents of the Stars, will feature actors, athletes and music artists who will compete against each other by performing an unknown talent.

 

Although each performance will be critiqued by three judges, the show’s “Viewer Vote” will allow viewers the opportunity to choose which celebrities continue on in the competition, and which ones will go home.

 

Constestants will receive assistance with their performances from members of the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus, former members of Cirque du Soleil, the Flying Karamazov Brothers and the Anti-Gravity Troupe.

 

In addition to Jones, Secret Talents of the Stars will feature former Cosby Show star Malcolm-Jamal Warner, who will be accompanied by a Hip-Hop Orchestra on bass guitar as they perform an original song and singer/actress Mya, who will showcase her tap-dancing skills.

 

Viewers will also see country singer Clint Black perform stand-up comedy, Star Trek cast member George Takei trading places with Black to sing country, pro wrestling champion Ric Flair displaying his salsa dancing skills and boxing legend Joe Frazier, who will exercise his vocal chords as a as a rhythm & blues singer.

 

Other celebrities slated to appear on the seven-week show include singer/drummer Sheila E., actress/model Marla Maples, Olympic medalist, Sasha Cohen, spokesmodel/actress Cindy Margolis, actor/radio DJ Danny Bonaduce, model/actress Bridget Marquardt and pop culture personality Ben Stein.

 

Secret Talents of the Stars will premiere live at 10 p.m. EST April 8 on CBS.
