Rapper Freck Billionaire was arrested in New Jersey on Tuesday (March 25) and charged with drug crimes, after he was caught selling crack to an undercover police officer.
According to The Record, Freck Billionaire, born Jeffrey Whitters, and an associate named Steven Ramos were arrested after they sold crack to an undercover detective working with the Bergen County Narcotics Task Force in Edgewater.
The 27-year-old rapper, who originally hailed from Philadelphia, was also wanted by Pennsylvania authorities violating his parole and skipping a court appearance on an unrelated charge.
Freck Billionaire has worked with a number of artists, including Just Blaze, DJ Clue, Fabolous and others.
The rapper recorded a video for his single Cook It, which happens to be an ode to crack cocaine.
On the single Cook It, the West-Philadelphia rapper boasts of his ability to sell the lethal form of cocaine, which is illegal.
According to his biography on his MySpace page, the rapper has been arrested 19 times, with his last bid being the longest, at 19 months.
Freck Billionaire is currently incarcerated in the Bergen County Jail.
His bail is set at $150,000 dollars.
