While Snoop Dogg’s bad boy image may have gotten him banned from the United Kingdom and Australia, the rapper continues to work with children, this time via a new Hip-Hop series of urban books.
Sources revealed to AllHipHop.com that Snoop is working on a children’s book series titled Wheres The Cheese, which will be illustrated by Snoop Doggs cousin, Joe Cool.
Wheres The Cheese is designed for children who face numerous challenges in urban environments.
The book series focuses on a character named Lil Mouse and her chase for cheese.
Sources told AllHipHop.com that Snoop’s 8-year-old daughter Cori “Choc” Broadus may also narrate a Where’s The Cheese series, that is currently in development as well.
The news of Snoop Dogg’s Hip-Hop book series comes on the heels of the rapper’s deal with The Comedy Central network, which was announced last month.
Comedy Central will air a new animates series featuring Snoop that chronicles Snoop as a teenager growing up in Long Beach in the 1980′s.
The untitled project is being executive produced by Snoop Dogg and Tom Lynch, who was also behind Andre 3000′s critically acclaimed animated series, Class of 3000.
