Remy Ma’s wedding to longtime boyfriend Papoose was canceled yesterday (May 12), after prison guards allegedly found a key that could have opened handcuffs on the rapper’s future husband.

Papoose, who arrived in a black sport jacket, jeans and an oversized New York Yankees fitted cap, was reportedly found to be in possession of a key and escorted out of the facility.

According to The New York Post, as a result of the uncovered contraband, Papoose was banned from visiting Remy Ma for six months.

Today Remy Ma, 26, will appear in Manhattan Supreme Court, where she will be sentenced to prison, for shooting another woman twice in the stomach during an altercation in a New York club, over $3,000 dollars.

Remy Ma will serve her time at Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for Women, a maximum security prison.
