A number of Houston rappers will be on hand to celebrate the graduation of at least 40 students from Marilyn Gambrell’s No More Victims, Inc. advocacy program.

Chamillionaire, Slim Thug, Paul Wall, Michael “5000” Watts and Trae tha Truth will celebrate with the students who attend the program at Houston’s M.B. Smiley High School.

No More Victims, Inc. is an advocacy program for infants and children of incarcerated parents founded by Marilyn Gambrell, who is also the subject of Lifetime Network’s Emmy nominated movie, Fighting the Odds: The Marilyn Gambrell Story.

This year’s celebration is even more special, as Smiley High is slated for closure at the end of this school semester.

After the children arrive in a limousine, Rummeka Allen, spokesperson for Mayor Bill White will give remarks, as will the superstar rappers.

The celebration takes place tonight (May 29) at Pappadeaux’s Seafood Restaurant in Houston.
