Rapper Rick Ross has dissolved an alliance with The Hip Hop Grub Spot, AllHipHop.com has learned. Ross’ Rick Ross Charities and Slip-N-Slide Records announced today (August 21), that his relationship with the health conscious Hip-Hop restaurant franchise was officially over.

 

According to Tawanda Roberts, Executive Director of Rick Ross Charities, Inc., Ross’ non-profit will continue to partner with other community oriented organizations.

 

“Rick Ross Charities, Inc will continue to accept and review offers to align with other non-profits as well as for profit companies and agencies,” Roberts told AllHipHop.com. “[We will] continue to partner with other companies and community agencies sharing the goal of the charity’s mission to strengthen the lives of today’s at-risk youth from all backgrounds and create diversity by providing solid resources through education advocacy, mentoring programs and financial resources to deserving students.”

 

The announcement comes as the Hip Hop Grub Spot celebrates its upcoming one-year anniversary. The Hip Hop Grub Spot officially opened its doors on November 17th, 2007. The franchise

 

produced a number of community events with Rick Ross, including a Thanksgiving turkey distribution and a Christmas toy drive.
