Bishop Lamont has vehemently denied all reports that hes no longer signed to Aftermath Records, the label owned by Dr. Dre.
Last time I checked, Im still on Aftermath thats news to me, the rapper said in an online video. This isnt the first time this has happened.
The rapper was signed to Dr. Dre in 2005 and has gone on to be one of the promising talents in Hip-Hop.
N***as are gonna do what they gotta do to get attention, Lamont said. Yes, Im still on Aftermath. Im the last dude on Aftermath so its an honor and a tribute.
Im already down with 50, Lamont stated, recognizing the speculation that he may have transitioned to G-Unit Records. Thats already family.
The rapper from Carson, CA said that he saw both sides of the gossip.
I aint looking at it like a negative, [but] I just hate when people try to pull out rumors and s**t. he said.
In related news, Bishop Lamont said that he would no longer comment on the status of Dr. Dres highly-anticipated, and long-delayed Detox album.
You know what, I always get in trouble for saying too much, because all those records were getting leaked, he admitted. A lot of those record you already had [and they] got demolished. So, I gotta be quiet, because I dont want to get in trouble.
