Bone Thugs-N-Harmony member Flesh-N-Bone was released from prison today (May 2), after prosecutors dropped a gun and drug charge. Flesh was arrested in Santa Clarita, California on April 2, after police stopped his vehicle for a faulty tail late. Because of his parole status, police searched his home and uncovered a gun locked in a suit case in closet, as well as a small amount of marijuana. Prosecutors had dropped the case a few weeks later, after realizing that the gun belong to Flesh’s wife, an inactive member of the Chicago Police Department. As for the marijuana, lawyers for the rapper proved he had a prescription for the drugs.

The entire Eminem debacle with Sacha Baron Cohen was allegedly scripted, including Cohen’s bare-bottom, crash landing into the chart-topping rapper’s face. MTV Movie Awards’ head writer Scott Aukerman revealed in a blog post that the entire scene was scripted and rehearsed. “Yes, the Bruno/Eminem incident was staged. That’s all anyone wants to talk about, so let’s get it out of the way,” Auckerman wrote on his Tumblr blog. “They rehearsed it at dress and yes, it went as far as it did on the live show then. Okay, you can stop reading this blog now!” Interestingly, the post can no longer be found on Auckerman’s blog. As for Eminem, the rapper has yet to make a statement about the incident. Eminem’s representative, Dennis Dennehy also refused to comment when contacted by AllHipHop.com.

Both sides have been unable to reach an agreement, and will bring the issue before the trademark office. Knight claims to have filed a copyright in 2006, while the other Black Ball owners state their filing was done in 2002.
