A New York judge has thrown dismissed a federal lawsuit against Clear Channel filed by popular shock jock Troi “Star” Torain.

Star, who was host of the “Star and Bucwild Show” on Power 105.1, was fired after he made lewd comments over the air about DJ Envy’s wife and four-year-old daughter.

In May of 2006, he was arrested for the comments and charged with harassment and endangering the welfare of a child, but those charges were eventually dropped.

Star filed the $10 million dollar breach-of-contract lawsuit against Clear Channel, claiming the company encouraged his behavior and wrongfully terminated his agreement.

Manhattan Judge Peter Leisure ruled that Clear Channel acted within their rights an employer when they fired Star from his position.
