Pioneering turntablist Roc Raida was admitted to the hospital last week, after being involved in a car accident that left him with serious injuries.
While details could not be confirmed, it was reported that Roc Raida suffered injuries to his spine during the accident.
Anthony Williams p/k/a GM Roc Raida is in the hospital, Roc Raidas family confirmed in a statement. His family thanks all of his fans for the well wishes and prayers. At this time please allow him and his family privacy to deal with the matter. The rumors and chatter is not accurate and we will release something more in detail at a later time. Thank you on behalf of the family and close friends.
In addition to acting as Busta Rhymes official tour DJ, Roc Raida is internationally known for founding legendary turntablist team The X-Ecutioners.
According to fellow pioneering DJ Qbert, Roc Raida is currently at home recovering from his injuries.
