Philadelphia rapper Eve is set to make her debut in Dubai this Tuesday (November 24). The Grammy Award winning rapper will appear at Chi Garden, where she will run through a number of her hit singles including tracks like “Who’s That Girl,” “Let Me Blow Your Mind,” “Gotta Man” and others. Eve, who turned 31 last week (November 10th), will also make a high profile appearance on Fox TV’s#### series Glee this week. On Wednesday, Eve will make her debut as a rival Glee Club coach that poses a threat to McKinley High’s chances of winning.

 

Houston rapper Bun B. has teamed with Boost Mobile to host a holiday food drive to benefit the Houston Food Bank. Bun B. and the Houston Food Bank will host the event, to help combat hunger in Houston this holiday season. Boost Mobile will present a $5,000 donation to Bethel Place, Bun B.’s charity of choice. Radio station KBXX 97.9 The Box will broadcast live during the event, which takes place from 1:30 to 2:30pm. Bun B. will also greet fans and sign autographs during the food drive, which takes place at the Boost Mobile Retail Store at 7541 Westheimer

 

Rapper Bow Wow will visit South Africa next month during a private tour of the country. According to reports, Bow Wow will perform at private parties in Jozie, Cape Town, PE and Durban. The rapper is being hosted by In House Inc., an international promotions and PR company. Bow Wow is scheduled to land on December 5th and will take part in a press conference and a number of events, details of which will be made public at a later date.

 

R&B singer Kelis released a new single today (November 23). The 29-year-old singer’s new track “Acapella” hit the Internet today around 12:30 PM. The single is Kelis’ first official release since giving birth to her new born son Knight with estranged husband/rapper, Nas, in July. The pair are currently involved in a divorce, with both seeking custody of the child. Kelis is also seeking $72,728 in spousal and child support , a request which Nas attempted to block earlier this month. To hear the track, click here.
