(AllHipHop News) A bodyguard for rapper/actor 50 Cent is currently in custody following an alleged fight with several photographers outside a hotel in Copenhagen.
TMZ.com reports the bodyguard, one of 50 employed by 50 Cent, is being held by Copenhagen police pending charges. Authorities have 24 hours to decide whether or not to bring charges against the bodyguard before a judge.
News of the bodyguard’s situation comes as 50 Cent deals with a recently filed lawsuit from Lastonia Leviston. In the suit, Leviston claims 50 Cent edited himself into her homemade sex video and unlawfully distributed it over the Internet.
The rapper, born Curtis Jackson, is accused of unauthorized use of Leviston’s name and image as well as “emotional distress” caused by the release of the video to the public. The video, which features 50 Cent as a wig- and robe-wearing narrator named Pimpin Curly, was originally made in 2008.
The suit further claimed that Jackson posted the video on his website after blurring out the face of Leviston’s lover. Leviston is the mother of the daughter of 50 Cent’s rap rival, Rick Ross.
At this time, no response from 50 Cent’s lawyer has been issued regarding the lawsuit.
