VH1 HIP-HOP HONORS 2010?
THE SOUTH!
Here is something that floated in my window. Check it – BOOM BOOM POW. I am getting word that the next Hip-Hop Honors isn’t going to quite do it like they did it in the infancy of the franchise. Remember the Run DMC’s, The Ice-T’s, The Founders and even people like Missy. This year I heard they are honoring the entire SOUTH for the Hip-Hop Honors of 2010. Honestly, I’m not sure how this is going to work, but work it will if this is true.

G-DEP TO REHAB?
G-Dep has had some well-documented issues with drugs and drug dependency. The most recent rumor I have heard is that Dep has decided to admit himself to a rehab facility to get off heroin. Not sure if this is true, but I could be. For a while some sources have hit me with some intel, but I didn’t publish it. Hopefully this isn’t true, but if it is, it’s a good thing to get help.

JAY-Z’S CUT!
So, it’s well documented that Jay-Z signed a 360-deal with Live Nation worth a purported $150 million. So, you know that so know this. Of the tour money that Jay-Z reported just raked it, Live Nation gets the lion’s share of that money. Its called R.O.I. – return on investment. They actually get most of everything, hence the 360 deal. So, this isn’t a negative line, but just some points for you to know. Now, if I could get a 360 deal with .1% of that.
THE WEST COAST / DETOX RUMORS
This is about to be nuts.
We’ve been waiting and now it looks like its coming true.

The other day Ice Cube, The Game, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg were all in the studio at the same time. They weren’t even recording a song – they were just VIBIN…chillin…this is good. Now, I am being told that this track COULD be for Game’s album on a song called “Strictly W.E.S.T.”
In fact, Cube talks all about this in his new blog. Check it out right here. He also addresses the rumors about dissing Dre. He said he wasn’t, but made no mention of all the others that is seems like he’s dissing. LOL! Cube’s a slickster!
Look for The RED Album in August, Cube’s album in July and Detox in September/October. Now, that is a three-punch combination.

BERLIN — A German meat supplier has found a novel solution to unpaid bills: repossessing the steaks right off diners’ plates.
Police in Aachen said Thursday that a dispute over money ended with the man grabbing his wares off the plates of some 20 bemused guests at a restaurant in the western city.
A furious argument erupted in the kitchen after the man made his daily delivery Wednesday evening but was told the restaurant didn’t immediately have the €400 ($535) in cash to pay his bill.
The vendor then took back the meat he’d delivered — including steaks already being cooked or marinated. That still didn’t cover the bill, so he continued collecting meat in the dining room.
Police arrived at the scene after he left but said they believed no offense was committed.
