(AllHipHop News) Dallas, Texas rapper Dorrough is planning a new single, in hopes of recreating the success of his single “Ice Cream Paint Job.”The rapper’s single was recently certified platinum for sales of over 1 million copies and earned him an award at the upcoming 23rd Annual Ascap Rhythm and Soul Music Awards, which takes place June 25th in Los Angeles. Dorrough hopes his latest single “Get Big” will take him back to the upper echelons of Billboard’s music charts.  “Getting this award is a great honor, and indicator of the hard work of my entire team,” Dorrough told AllHipHop.com. Outstanding sales, radio airplay, and chart performance, are all goals we working to duplicate with my new project and single, Get Big, from my sophomore album that will be in stores this summer.”In addition to selling millions of copies, “Ice Cream Paint Job” spawned two successful remixes that featured artists from the West coast (Snoop E-40) and a “down south” version featuring Soulja Boy, Jermaine Dupri, Slim Thug, Jim Jones and others. At press time, no further information was available regarding Dorrough’s upcoming follow up album to his 2009 debut, Dorrough Music.
