(AllHipHop News) Cali Swag District will hit Los Angeles’ Arleta High School this month to educate the students on the importance of registering to vote. The Inglewood, California group, which is enjoying success with their hit single “Teach Me How to Dougie,” will appear at Arleta on August 31st, to register eligible students to vote as part of Rock The Vote’s Democracy Class program. “We feel it is important that kids realize the power they have with voting, that every person counts,” CSD told AllHipHop.com in a joint statement. “No matter who you are, where you come from, you have the power to make a difference,” CSD continued. “It’s all about shaping your future… that being said, kids have to stay in school!! You need that high school diploma. And to us, there is nothing sexier than an educated woman. Rock The Vote was the perfect outlet for us to spread our message.”During the visit, Cali Swag District group members C Smoove, Yung, Jayare and M-Bone will also promote their upcoming debut album The Kickback, which is due in stores on October 12th through 319 Music Group/Capitol Records.
