(AllHipHop News) Jay-Z, the world’s top earning rapper Jay-Z and the world’s top earning tour band U2 will join together for a tour of Australia and New Zealand later this year. The two artists will host the concerts to support the launch of Live Nation Australia, which opened this past July and his headed up by Luke Hede and veteran promoter Roger Field. The tour will kick off at Auckland’s Mount Smart Stadium on November 25th and make stops in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney. The final performance will take place at Perth’s Subiaco Oval and mark’s the first time U2 has played in Perth since 1998. According to Billboard, tickets will be priced at $39.90 and that almost 45% of the tickets will be priced under $100. The tour combines two of Live Nation’s most lucrative acts. Jay-Z was recently named Hip-Hop top earner for 2009-2010 with $63 million earned, while U2′s 2009 world tour earned the band $300 million. Tickets to all concerts will go on sale September 3rd.
