(AllHipHop News) Dipset rappers Juelz Santana and Jim Jones, along with newcomer Diggy Simmons, will be among the celebrities, athletes and politicians who will attend today’s “I Will Graduate Day” for students in New York’s metropolitan area. Both Governor David Paterson and Mayor Bloomberg have declared that October 26th in officially “I Will Graduate Day” in the city. The day, which was created and conceived by Entertainers 4 Education Alliance (E4EA), aims to spotlight the importance of education, personal advancement and social commitment to young people. In addition to Juelz and Jim Jones, attendees will include Reverend Al Sharpton, MTV’s Sway Calloway, NBA legend John Starks, NY Jet’s linebacker Calvin Pace, actress Emerald-Angel Young, Hot 97′s Cipha Sounds and Peter Rosenberg, K.Foxx, Tashera Simmons, DJ Webstar, Donnie Klang, Alex Young, Shontelle, Tiffany Evans, Miss Teen USA 2010 Kamie Crawford and many others. “There have been many debates surrounding education and clearly no one has all the answers, but if we work together our children will benefit from our labor,” E4EA’s co-founder Tonya Lewis told AllHipHop.com.”E4EA is committed to  ensuring that every child has access to a great education,” said Lewis. “The ‘I Will Graduate’ movement has become the voice urging young people to take action.  We look forward to presenting a powerful message to young people during ‘I Will Graduate’ and beyond and we celebrate all those who help us make this difference.” The “I Will Graduate Day” takes place today (October 26th) starting at 2:00 PM at the Tribeca Performing Arts Theatre.
