(AllHipHop News) A special event takes place at the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation where three female authors will read from their new books at the center, which was erected in the late legend’s honor.

“3 Roses That Grew From The Concrete” centers around the books of Gloria Jean Cox (Tupac’s aunt/Afeni Shakur’s sister and author of “Through The Fog”), Jamilah Creekmur (Tupac’s cousin and author of “Raised By The Mistress”) and Shantis Das (author of “The Hip-Hop Professional: A Woman’s Guide to Climbing the Ladder of Success”).

Cox told AllHipHop.com, “God has carried my family and I through countless struggles, and today I am excited that my new book “Through The Fog” will be able to touch so many lives. This event on November 13th will be an opportunity to speak life into and inspire families who have struggled with autism.”

Das expressed excitement in reading from her book in the TASF building with her cohorts.

“Its an honor to be doing a book signing at Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation center along with such dynamic authors!I hope that we inspire and empower those that attend this incredible event,” Das concluded.
