(AllHipHop News) Hip-Hop groupie Karrine “Superhead” Steffans has filed legal papers in Los Angeles, seeking to keep her ex-husband, Darius McCrary, away from her. Steffans has been granted a temporary restraining order against McCrary, who played Eddie Winslow on the hit series “Family Matters.” The 34-year-old actor is accused of choking and beating Steffans with a belt, while her 12-year-old son watched. In November, McCrary allegedly got into with Steffans at the Sunset Marquis Hotel, also in Los Angeles. During that altercation, McCrary is accused of choking and beating Steffans in front of a large group of people. According to TMZ.com, Steffans is heading back to court next week, where she will seek a permanent restraining order against McCrary. Steffans life as a rap groupie and her rocky relationship with McCrary is detailed on a documentary currently airing on premium cable networks titled Kiss and Tail.
