(AllHipHop News) Master P. and Romeo are targeting the international market with the signing of Romanian pop star Catalina Toma to their No Limit Forever Records.
Catalina Toma is best known for hitting the top of the national charts in Romania for her single “Why My Lord,” which earned the singer “Best Female Voice” and “Video Of The Year” awards in the country.
To date, the singer has released two albums in the country, with her third effort being promoted to the international market, with a focus on the United States.
“Signing Catalina was a no-brainer. She’s one of the most talented Pop and R&B vocalists in the world,” said Master P who compared the singer to Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey and Rihanna.
No Limit’s CEO Romeo has been tasked with helping to introduce the singer, who is popular in Eastern Europe, to American audiences.
“Catalina is a diamond in the rough. And she’s the missing piece to the puzzle for No Limit Forever Records taking over the crossover markets,” Romeo told AllHipHop.com.
According to the Miller’s, Catalina Toma’s debut effort on the No Limit Forever Records imprint will be a mixture of pop and R&B tracks, that will land in stores in 2012.
