The “immortal words of Jay-Z” from his song “Don’t Let Me Die” have been so eloquently recited by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson at the beginning of the new television spot for Paramount Pictures’ G.I. Joe: Retaliation, which is set to air this Sunday during the Super Bowl.
The action-packed film, set to hit theaters on June 29, is the sequel to 2009′s G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra and stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Channing Tatum, RZA, Adrianne Palicki, Bruce Willis, and more.
G.I. Joe Retaliation, which is being directed by Jon Chu, follows a small group of remaining Joe’s on a journey for revenge after their base is attacked by Cobra Commander and a majority of their ranks are killed.
