Country Music Legend Willie Nelson Enlists Snoop Dogg For New Project

SNOOP DOGG AND WILLIE NELSON TOKE UP OVER NEW TUNES

(AllHipHop News) Well-known marijuana enthusiasts Willie Nelson and Snoop Dogg have teamed up for a song on Willie Nelson’s new project.

The album, entitled Heros, will be released by the country music legend on May 14 this year.

The new track featuring Snoop is entitled “Roll Me Up And Smoke Me When I Die”, likely an ode to smoking marijuana until one’s life end.

The project also features several Willie Nelson covers, including songs by Coldplay and Pearl Jam.

Snoop also made headlines recently, as he announced the title for his 12th album in 19 years, Reincarnation. The rapper said that the project shows a softer side to his music and personality than previous projects.

“It’s a project where it’s more about the element of surprise, but at the same time it’ll be talked about in due time,” Snoop explained to MTV News. “It’s special; it’s a real special project to me because it’s like the reincarnation and the birth of me becoming who I really am…I never really knew who I was through the music. I was always a very peaceful, kind, loving, caring individual and making music to symbolize that sometimes never was my key.”
